Terms of Service

The short version, in plain English.

Who can buy

You must be 18 or over to buy.

Who can be the hero

• A child or a teen: you must be their parent or legal guardian, and you confirm this before anything is drawn.
• An adult: it must be your own photo, or you must have that person's permission to use it.
• Only upload a photo you have the right to use.

What you buy

• Digital chapter (£9.99): one personalised manga chapter of about 20 pages, read on this site, with a PDF download and 3 free panel redraws.
• Printed book (£24.99): all three chapters of a world in one A5 paperback, made to order and posted to you, with free UK delivery (faster post is offered at checkout). The digital chapter is included.

Delivery

• The digital chapter is ready on this site a few minutes after you pay, and we email you the link.
• The printed book is made to order by our print partner and posted to you. We email you when it ships.

The artwork

• The art is made by an AI image model from your photo. It is for personal use: read it, print it and share it with family and friends, but do not sell it.
• Occasional visual imperfections are part of the medium. Use your redraws, or write to us.
• The stories, the worlds and every character except the hero are ours.

Refunds and problems

• Digital chapter: it is made for you and delivered straight away. If we can't deliver a chapter you're happy with, write to us within 14 days and we'll put it right or refund you.
• Printed book: it is personalised, so it can't be returned because you changed your mind. If it arrives damaged or misprinted, or doesn't arrive, write to us within 30 days (a photo helps) and we'll reprint it or refund you.

Your photo

Stored privately, never shared or sold, never used for training, and deleted automatically. The detail is on the privacy page.

What you may not do

• Upload a photo you don't have the right to use, or a photo of someone without the permission described above.
• Sell, resell or use the chapters or books commercially.
• Use the site for anything unlawful, or try to copy, scrape or break it.

We may refuse or stop a story that breaks these rules.

Our liability

If something goes wrong, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the chapter or book in question. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under UK consumer law, or our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date below shows the latest version; the terms that applied when you bought are the ones that apply to that purchase.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
